We, Custimy, need to be supplied with three things

The full URL of your webshop.

User Name of the Web Service user you will be creating in this guide.

API Key of the Web Service user you will be creating in this guide.
Follow this easy step-by-step guide to create said Magento Web Services user:
Step 1. Navigate to Web Services Role.

First, log into your Magento Admin Panel with a high-permission user.

Click on the System tab, hover over the Web Services and select the option SOAP/XML-RPC - Roles.

Step 2. Create new role.

Click the button Add New Role.

Step 3. Enter role information.

In the field Role Name, give an arbitrary name like "Custimy". In the field Current Admin Password, supply the admin password you used to log into your Magento admin panel.
2. Now click on the Role Resourcestab.

Step 4. Give role permissions

In the Roles Resources dropdown, select All. (Custimy will only ever read from your store, never update or change anything in your store)

Save your role.

Step 5. Navigate to Web Services User

Click on the System tab, hover over the Web Services and select the option SOAP/XML-RPC - Users.

Step 6. Create new user.

On the Web Services user page, click on the button Add New User.

Step 7. Enter user information.

Fill in the user fields.

Enter a User Name like "custimy". Important - this User Name you should save and send to us at the end of this guide.

First Name, Last Name, Email can all be filled with arbitrary text like "Custimy" or "Custimy@custimy.io"

In the Current Admin Password enter the password you logged into your Magento Admin panel with.

In the API Key field, enter a strong password of your choosing. Important - this password / API key you will save and send to us at the end of this guide.

Navigate to User Role in the tab to the left.

Step 8. Assign role and save.

In the role list, check off the box for the role you created earlier in this guide.

Save the user.

Step 9. Connect to Custimy

Congratulations! You should now have your new users' User Name and API Key -saved.

Go to the Integrations page on the Custimy app and click on the Magento 1 icon.

In the API User field, input the User Name

In the API Token field, input the API Key
-
In Shop Domain field, input your entire root shop url i.e. "https://custimy-shop.io/"

Click connect!

You should now see a succes message. If you do not, please repeat this guide step-by-step and make sure your shop URL is correct. If you have further issues, reach out to our support
Notice
In order to obtain a clean shop url, please navigate to your shops' front page and copy the URL directly from the browser URL bar.
