Shopify Integration

This is the guide for connecting your Shopify shop with Custimy.io

To connect your Shopify store to your Custimy.io account, a Custom App is required.

2. Click on Apps

3. Click on App and sales channel settings

 

 

4. Click on Develop apps

You might have to Allow app development, before getting to this step, depending on whether you have done similar actions earlier.

• Give your new app an arbitrary name, such as "Custimy.io"

• Click Create app and you will be directed to the App development page.

 

5. Click on Create an app

 

6. Name the app e.g. "Custimy Integration"

 

7. Click on Create app

 

8. Click on Configure Admin API scopes

 

9. Check read_customers at Customers

Check read_customers at Customers

Check read_inventory at Inventory

Check read_orders at Orders

Check read_products at Products

 

 

13. Click on Save

 

14. Click on Install app

 

15. Click on Install

 

16. Copy the access token

• Reveal the Admin API access token

• Copy the key to your clipboard

 

17. Go to Custimy and click on the Integrations tab

 

18. Click on Shopify

 

19. Paste the access key into input

 

20. Type your shop URL

• Grab your webshop URL and insert it into the field Shop URL

  • For example: https://webshop.com/ or https://bestshoeshopever.myshopify.com/

 

21. Click on Connect

• After you connect your integration you should receive a success message and your Shopify integrations will appear in the left-hand view, indicating it is pulling data.

• If you receive an error message, please go back through the guide and ensure you follow the steps, or contact our support using our Help Center button in your down right corner.

 

Now just wait to see the interesting insights we have created on your Shopify customer data when you integrate with Shopify. 

 

22. Great Job!

 

After successfully connecting your new Shopify integration, your historical data will begin to be collected, processed and analyzed. This can take between 1 - 24 hours depending on the amount of data.
