1 Step: Generate Credentials

Here you can see how you find and generate credentials at your Shopify shop, to connect it with Custimy.io

When you create your credentials for your shop you have to select the areas Custimy.io needs access to.

You will also need to set the Webhook API version to 2021-04

When prompted to activate API Permissions, you simply enable Read access in the highlighted fields:

You can then go ahead and save the Private App, after which you will be transferred to the following page.

Here, you copy the value in the Password field and return back to Custimy.io.

2 Step: Connect with Custimy.io

Copy the credentials from the Password field from your Private App that you have created over in your Shopify shop and paste it into the API Key field.

API Key: This is the API Password credential you have created in your Shopify account's private app.

Shop Name: This can easily be found in the URL when you are on the admin panel. For example, for a shop with URL: https://custimy-test.myshopify.com

the shop name here is custimy-test, which is what you insert in the Shop Name field.

Press connect and the Custimy.io machine starts.
It takes up to 24 hours to generate the first visualization of your data from a Shopify shop.
